The current lead case study anchoring the portfolio.
Case studies with a clearer lead project
The old media wall is turning into a real portfolio.
The goal is not only to store project assets, but to show which work best represents the site today and where future interactive work should go next.
Case studies, live tools, and archive pieces now share one data model.
Graphics-heavy and product-flavored experiments should lead the first impression.
Featured now
Hanzi Workshop is the current flagship case study because it already combines product framing, front-end craft, bilingual UX, and genuine game-prototype depth.
Hanzi Workshop / 汉字工坊
A bilingual web game project that turns hanzi structure into playable systems instead of decoration.
The repo may still be called hanziHero, but as portfolio work it reads best as a broader Hanzi Workshop case study: a shared launcher, two distinct game directions, and a current focus on readable, playable hanzi systems.
The core challenge is making Chinese characters feel readable, learnable, and tactically interesting at the same time. That means balancing language clarity, game feel, bilingual onboarding, and a presentation layer that still feels like a real game instead of an educational demo.
Hanzi Workshop already reads as a serious prototype line rather than a loose experiment. It has a presentable launcher, clear visual identity, release notes, and a branching workflow that supports rapid iteration while keeping a stable mainline for showcase use.

Project archive
Archive material, live tools, and concept work now sit behind the lead project instead of all fighting for the first impression.
Visual Memory
A graphics-heavy project archive that deserves a clearer case study shape.
This was previously shown as a loose GIF wall. In the new site, it becomes a structured project story with room for process, tools, and a future interactive demo.
Stand-ups Lottery
A lightweight team tool that already proves the site can host product-like experiments.
Instead of being buried as an iframe page, this tool is now framed as one of the site's product experiments. It is a good candidate for future React and Three.js-adjacent interaction patterns.
Galaxy Construction Company
A concept poster that can evolve into a richer narrative project page.
This piece currently exists as a strong static visual. The migration turns it into structured project content so it can later be expanded with story, process, and possibly a lightweight interactive layer.
